Tooth Colored Filings

Tooth colored fillings are fillings that are the same color of the tooth. This allows for a more natural look in the area that was filled with the filling. A cavity occurs as a result of tooth decay and is a hole which was caused by the destruction of tooth enamel. Once the cavity has been cleaned of any bacteria, a filling is used to fill in the area to protect the surrounding area of the tooth.
